Want to see the cover for Adam Lambert's new album, Trespassing?
We’re long-time Adam Lambert fans here on Unreality TV. And if you’re anything like us, you’ll be eagerly anticipating the release of Adam’s second album, Trespassing.Well, you’ll be excited to know that the image above is the cover for the new album!
Adam’s venturing into new sonic territory with this latest album, as it’s said to feature a more contemporary electropop sound. We’re hearing that a listening party for the new album has met with positive remarks from music journalists, and Lambert’s line-up of collaborators is impressive to say the least: Pharrell Williams is lending his production skills as well as Sam Sparro, Bruno Mars, Claude Kelly, Bonnie McKee, Dr. Luke and Benny Blanco.
An interesting point made by Digital Spy is that the teaser track Better Than I Know Myself doesn’t quite fit with the sound of the new tracks:
Surprisingly, the only track that feels out of place on Trespassing thus far is the lead single, ‘Better Than I Know Myself’. It could be that there is more of that sound to come and we just haven’t heard it yet, or it could end up being one of those songs that serves as a “bridge” between his old album and his new one.
We can’t help wondering if this move will serve to put more distance between Adam and the show that introduced us to him, American Idol. While Adam’s always been positive about his involvement in the show, might it be fair to say that there’s always a temptation to write him off as just another reality TV flop. Our hope is that his new sound will please the existing fans and open him up to a much wider fanbase! What do you say, Glamberts?
Better Than I Know Myself will be released on 11th March, a week ahead of Trespassing on 19th March 2012.
