The Walking Dead Season 4 spoilers: Maggie, Sasha and Bob are ‘Alone’

Sasha in The Walking Dead episode Alone

Well, we just got through watching The Walking Dead episode that might as well have been called “Daryl and Beth go for a drink, and end up in arson hi-jinx”. In a mostly somber episode that gave us some much-needed insight into Daryl’s backstory, the archer and the lesser-known Green daughter set light to an old shack as a means to exorcise some of their respective demons. And possibly kick off a new romance on the show. Who knows?

As our scattered survivors trudge through the wilderness following the destruction of the prison, the show has focused largely on separate storylines. Alone returns us to Maggie, Sasha and Bob Stookey as they wander through a thick fog. You know what’s coming next, right? Drooling hordes of zombies! Unable to see more than a few feet in front of them, the trio have no idea how many undead foes they’re facing – and we know from another clip that they’re seriously low on ammunition.

The last thing we hear is Sasha screaming Bob’s name – could it be that we’re about to see the first character death of this half of the season?

The official synopsis for Alone simply reads “One group finds a shelter; a group has a realization about protection.” We’re kind of interested in the shelter mentioned in the first part of this – will we finally get to see the “Those who arrive…survive” sanctuary?

Elsewhere, we catch up with Daryl and Beth – in a cemetary of all places. The idea of cemeteries in The Walking Dead is pretty weird since most corpses are reanimated, burial is a luxury, especially if the people left behind are fighting off slobbering packs of starving walkers! As we hinted at the top of this post, there’s a shot of them both holding hands at a grave – it could either be a simple act of comfort or there’s the beginnings of a new romance. What’s your take – should Daryl and Beth get together and repopulate the earth?

awww bethly yes! :) They are so cute!

  2. Cat says:

Could it be the ‘mist’ is actually all the smoke from the house fire lit by Beth and Darryl? That Maggie Sacha and Bob are actually in the same Vicinity? If so, then Maggie will be giving ‘the finger’ back to her little sis when she finds out. And Bob will be gutted (hopefully not literally), not to have found the moonshine first. Lol.

    1. Not a bad theory, Cat, but they don’t seem to be choking, which they definitely would be if they were in thick smoke like that.

  3. Sarah says:

I absolutely think Beth and Daryl should get together. She brought more out of him in one day than all the others did in a year and a half. Bethyl forever.

  4. curtis payment says:

that would be cool but i see problem maybe daryl and carol find each other /cat fight

  5. Kátia says:

It wasn’t Beth that brought out of Daryl’s past, it was the moonshine. I think their relathionship will be like brothers, lol. Daryl has this feeling of protection for her, that’s all.

Want to share an observation that I hope is not true!!! From this promo….Can someone tell me if they think the Zombie girl, with what looks like long blond hair, and who is coming out of the fog toward, Maggie, Sasha, and Bob……doesn’t she look alot like Beth but with her hair down? If you slow motion the clip, you see her, with what looks like a sweater on, AND something flapping on her side as she staggers toward the group…..looks like a holster. It’s just flapping around.

Now…….in the clip with Beth and Daryl at the Cemetary holding hands….all they show are their hands and their midsections, you see Beth with a black holster on…. all of a sudden. She didn’t have one before? They made a point to show it. What are ya’lls thoughts?

I hope my eyes are deceiving me. I don’t want this to happen. I was thinking Bob before that it would be a sure death….and that is how “all of a sudden” Beth got this holster??

Follow-up….to my previous post….it may not be this clip exactly….it was the specific short clip they showed on the Talking Dead last Sunday. As I slow mowed it on the Television. This clip above has more detail in it. So maybe I’m wrong. I sure hope so. It would be a shame to kill Beth off just after such a good episode with her and Daryl. I think they are a great story line. But she does have a Black Holster now. And besides the hands….they made a point to show it for some reason?
