After their incredible auditions, NBC Social Media Correspondent Christina Milian caught up with Chris Mann, Jesse Campbell, Juliet Simms, RaeLynn & Tony Lucca in the five interviews below.
The Voice returned to NBC for a second season last night, launching with a special edition immediately following the network’s coverage of Super Bowl XLVI. All four coaches – Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Maroon 5 lead vocalist Adam Levine and Blake Shelton – returned for the second run
After the Audition: Chris Mann
Chris Mann, 29, from Wichita, Kansas chats backstage after joining Team Xtina. He impressed both Aguilera and Cee-Lo with his performance of “Because We Believe (Ama Credi E Vai)”
After the Audition: Jesse Campbell
Jesse Campbell, 42, from Maywood, Illinois chats backstage after also joining Team Xtina. He was sought after by all four judges, after delivering a smashing version of “A Song for You” by Leon Russell.
After the Audition: Juliet Simms
Juliet Simms, 25, from Florida chats backstage after joining Team Cee Lo. She chose Green, after receiving offers from him, Adam and Christina, following her powerful rendition of “Oh! Darling” by The Beatles.
After the Audition: RaeLynn
RaeLynn, 17, from Baytown, Texas chats backstage after joining Team Blake. She received offers from both Blake and Adam Levine after delivering her version of “Hell on Heels” by Pistol Annies.
After the Audition: Tony Lucca
Tony Lucca, 35, from Waterford, Michigan chats backstage after joining Team Adam. He was able to choose between all four celebrity judges, after they all clambered to land him following an impressive rendition of “Trouble” by Ray LaMontagne.
