The Voice Coaches Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine Stay Busy Between Blind Auditions
There’s only a few short months between The Voice’s spring and fall season, but that’s not stopping the judges from taking time off for side projects. Blake Shelton is using the time to perform around the United States, while Christina Aguilera is hard at work on her next album.
Aguilera recently shared with MTV News that her next single would be out in early August. “I’ve been in the studio, hard at work,” she said. The diva has been working alongside pop hitmaker Max Martin. Lyrics are circulating the Internet suggesting that fans can expect the chorus to be along the lines ofAll I want to do is what you wanted. So we can speculate it’s either a song about giving into the pressures around you.. maybe perhaps a lover?
While Aguilera and Shelton focus on their music, the acting bug bit Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green. Not only is Adam guest starring on an upcoming episode of “American Horror Story,” but he is playing Keira Knightley’s love interest in the film “Can a Song Save Your Life?” The pair is currently shooting the film in New York. Not only will the move star Levine, but it will also feature fellow coach Cee Lo Green as Troublegum, a successful hip hop star.
The good news for The Voice fans is no projects are interfering with auditions for the upcoming fall premiere of The Voice. The Voice returns Sept. 10 at 8/7c on NBC.
