Since Spartacus freed the slaves at the end of Blood And Sand, Crixus has been a steadfast ally of the Thracian hero. But in the teaser video for Friday’s episode, even he has no idea where his friend has gone. And the stirrings of dissent begin with this quote:

I thought more of Spartacus than a coward of secrets and schemes.

If Crixus has no trust in his friend, then could a mutiny be on the horizon?

And just what exactly is Spartacus up to? We see him on board a boat and a scene where Agron asks if it’s wise for Spartacus to go on a solo mission while there’s unrest in the city. And if that’s not revealing enough, this chilling conversation between Spartacus and Laeta shows the Thracian in single-minded and deadly form.
