Ichabod and Abbie investigate a haunted house in Sleepy Hollow’s Sanctuary episode
Creepy times are ahead for Ichabod and Abbie on Sleepy Hollow as the pair are forced to investigate a missing persons case that takes them to a haunted house. Halloween might be over, but it never really ends where Ichabod is concerned, so we’re looking forward to what horrors the writers have dreamed up for the Sanctuary episode.
SLEEPING EVILS ARE AWOKEN – When Ichabod (Tom Mison) and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) investigate a missing persons case, the search leads to a Colonial-era house which holds secrets from Ichabod’s past… and unleashes a long-dormant evil.
Having discovered the identity of the headless horseman – were you as shocked at that twist as we were? – the horseman is back in the wild. That incarceration didn’t last long, did it? Slippery undead minion of Moloch!
In Sanctuary, Irving asks the supernatural sleuthing duo to look into a missing persons case. Seems a bit humdrum to be asking the original Ichabod Crane to do bog standard police work, but Irving explains that the missing socialite has a family connection back to the founding fathers. Naturally. So, with that connection to Crane’s past established, they go a step further and conjure up a connection to Katrina as well.
The clip for the next episode of Sleepy Hollow is as brilliant as you might expect – FOX have really nailed the haunted house visuals on this one. The sight of our socialite intertwined with branches inside a closet is sure to send a tingle down your spine. Will this be a standalone episode or do you think there’ll be a deeper connection to the Moloch storyline than what FOX is teasing?
