Original Robocop!
Right, so they’re remaking RoboCop. Because what the world needs now is a titanium metal alloy cyborg law enforcer. And hopefully, now that it’s a phenomenal 25 years since the original movie, we can confidently predict that Robocop will have…wi-fi! Or at least USB2.
But what’s really going on with this movie remake? The rumour mill has been in overdrive, even suggesting that Russell Crowe would be strapping on a shiny metal helmet to play Officer Murphy. We decided that it was time that we dug into the story to find out what’s going on with the movie.

It’s usually on press junkets to promote a new movie that actors reveal newsworthy tidbits about their lives in order to grab headlines – and therefore attention – about their latest offerings. In this case, it’s the director of Tower Heist who has pushed things a little too far with a series of lewd and offensive remarks. In the first instance, he claimed to have slept with (sorry “banged”, to use his word) Attack Of The Show host Olivia Munn and Lindsay Lohan.
And if that wasn’t classy enough, Ratner really drew the ire of the industry when he dropped the “rehearsal is for fags” bomb. And that’s when the backlash against him really started. Because obviously in an industry which has a large number of gay and lesbian actors, not to mention the behind-the-scenes personnel, Ratner’s remarks caused an enormous amount of offence. He’s hardly going to be flavour of the month with the LGBT community now, is he?

The creator of the British superhero sitcom No Heroics has been hired to write the script for a third Sherlock Holmes film.
The Hollywood Reporter says today that Drew Pearce has signed on to write the sequel – and yes, we know that the second Holmes movie, A Game Of Shadows hasn’t even hit the cinemas yet. As the cinema newspaper notes:
