Piers Morgan Will Miss Sharon Osbourne on America's Got Talent
Just one month after Piers Morgan announced he was leaving “America’s Got Talent” to focus on his talk show “Piers Morgan Tonight,” NBC announced that shock jock Howard Stern would replace the outspoken Brit.
Some fans of the show and critics are skeptic, despite Stern assuring everyone that he can control his potty mouth on national television. Morgan has told reporters in the past that he thinks Stern joining the panel is a great decision and that it will be a good thing for AGT.
Morgan recently visited “Rachel Ray” and explained he will miss being a judge on “America’s Got Talent,” though there’s a few things he won’t miss. “Obviously I’m going to miss Howie Mandel very much indeed … like you would miss going to the dentist and having all your teeth extracted one by one with no anesthetic,” he said “And I’ll miss Sharon Osbourne.” He joked in high spirits.
Now that Morgan is focusing on his chat show, perhaps he can start to pull in the ratings Larry King did. It is certain that Americans are finally warming up to him- behind the judges table or his news desk.
