No Doubt in studio footage and listen to them recording Push & Shove
They’ve been gone for such a long time, and they promised fans a new album literally years ago, but No Doubt are finally back in the studio…and we’ve got proof!
Yep, Ms Gwen Stefani and her chums Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont are hard at work (finally) recording their sixth studio album.
There’ve clearly been a few changes in the No Doubt camp since the band last worked together. Tony talks about the ‘cool’ studio hours that the band are keeping that allow him to have some family time before coming in to work on the album. Gwen says that she doesn’t even care if the album comes out, she just had such a good time making it.
We’d imagine the tremendously patient No Doubt fanbase might disagree.
In the video clip below, fans can see the band at work in Spike Stent’s studios in Santa Monica, California, where they’re putting the finishing touches to the album. You can also see Gwen laying down the vocal track for new song Push & Shove. The band have collaborated on this track with Major Lazer and Jamaican artist Busy Signal.
The as-yet-untitled No Doubt album is due to be released on September 25, 2o12. Rejoice!
