New music: General Fiasco release Waves EP title track
Have you heard the latest track from Northern Irish indie-rockers General Fiasco? The foursome have released a preview of Waves on their Soundcloud account, and it’s – to use Northern Ireland speak – a cracker!
Magherafelt’s finest band are starting to make major headway in the music biz: their last single The Age That You Start Losing Friends was BBC Radio 1′s ‘Hottest Record In The World’ recently, which is a big achievement. And I say that as a Northern Irelander who knows exactly how hard it is for bands from the province to get recognition!
With Waves, lead singer/bassist Owen Strathern and his bandmates have crafted a perfectly infectious indie-pop tune. It’s a joyful, upbeat, feel-good track that doesn’t have to beg for multiple listens. As we said, it’s the title track from General Fiasco’s forthcoming Waves EP, which is released on 14th November via Dirty Hit Records.
