Madonna's MDNA Cover Art Revealed!
For those of you who’ve been living in far flung places without access to the Internet and/or cable TV, pop ICON Madonna is returning to smack down that whippersnapper Lady Gaga and reclaim her crown as Queen of Pop. Or something like that. After rocking the Super Bowl halftime show on Sunday, she’s revealed the cover of her latest album.
This is the cover for the 12 track standard edition of MDNA which will be released on 26th March 2012.
We’ve got to say, while some wags are complaining that Madonna’s cleverly hiding her sinewy self behind rippled glass, we love the effect and the vibrant colours. No, the wacky red fingerless gloves are distinctly not attractive, but that blurred figure behind the glass is definitely Madonna. Can’t help thinking in the wake of the Super Bowl that the bright primary red and blue colours are a subtle all-American reference…
There’s an alternative cover for the Deluxe edition of MDNA (pictured right) which features a close-up of Madonna’s face with bright red lipstick.
The track listing of the album is as follows:
- Girls Gone Wild
- Gang Bang
- I’m Addicted
- Some Girls
- I Don’t Give A
- Turn Up the Radio
- Give Me All Your Luvin’
- B-day Song
- I’m a Sinner
- Falling Free
- Love Spent
- I F—ed Up
- Beautiful Killer
The lead single is Give Me All Your Luvin’, which features guest vocals from MIA and Nicki Minaj. As she’s done throughout her career, Madonna is surrounding herself in best and most talented cutting edge artists. And if the rest of the album is anywhere near as good as Give Me, then expect this to be another classic!
