Now, in the interests of quality journalism, we at Unreality TV have watched the footage, freeze-framed it a few times and generally checked it out from a few different angles. And…we have to say that it’s one fine boob. This is a 53-year old woman, who has been at the top of the charts since the mid-80s. She’s never been afraid to bare her body in the past. In fact, you might recall her Sex book, which was entirely devoted to nudity in all its forms.

In her later career, Madonna has drawn plenty of criticism for risque costumes and that airbrushing controversy a couple of years ago. The question seems to be should she continue to do the provocative things she did in her early career, or should she accept her age and cover up?

You can look at this as a bit of bare-nipple titillation, or you could open up a conversation about why it’s appropriate for Rihanna, Beyonce or Lady Gaga to strut around half-naked and not for Madonna? Do twentysomething pop stars have the monopoly on sensuality? Why is it disgusting for Madonna but not for women half her age?
