Listen to Drake and Rihanna on new song Take Care

Drake - Take CareThe title track from Drake’s second album Take Care has hit the internet, featuring a guest vocal from the hottest woman in the world.

The song samples I’ll Take Care Of You by Gil Scott Heron and sees Rihanna returning the guest vocals favour (Drake featured on last year’s What’s My Name). The song has hit the web just a couple of days after Drake’s album leaked online. The album’s official release date was set for 15 November.

Initial reaction? Not what I’d expected at all. While What’s My Name was playful and flirtatious, Take Care is a more sombre, heavy song. I think sometimes Drake brings a more serious vibe to a song, but even Rihanna displays a rather dry throaty vocal on this track.

That said, it has the potential to become a real grower – especially with that “It’s my birthday, I’ll get high if I want to” line. But does anyone else think this one is begging for a club remix?
