Idol Bites: Five Things We Learned This Week About Our Favorite Reality Stars
Is The X Factor’s Melanie Amaro dating Stereo Hogzz’s Trace Kennedy? Since leaving the competion after a failed performance of “Rhythm Nation,” Kennedy’s been in Los Angeles working on his music. Sources close to the show say the pair spend a lot of private time together, but Amaro says a boyfriend is the last thing she needs right now. “The only romance I’m having right now is with my microphone,” Amaro told E! News. “I have a very close friend, but it’s not like right now I’m doing anything to distract me, because I have to worry about this 5 million dollars.”
Former American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler is busy gearing up for her next album, “100 Proof.” The country crooner released the official track listing this week. Click here for the details. In the mean time, enjoy her latest video, and the first single off her new album, “Tough.”
The Hollywood Reporter confirmed American Idol host Ryan Seacrest has met with NBC and is talking serious business over a potential co-hosting gig. Is The X Factor’s Simon Cowell on a mission to take Marcus Canty down? Does America need to worry? Cowell says, no. “I have talked to the others and he is not going to be in that league, especially with what we have planned next week,” he told Hollywood Life. Cowell’s a fair judge, but I would be a little fearful if I was Canty!
