This website will be an interactive online community where artists can list their information and reach out to music lovers everywhere.

Randy Jackson Next will not only offer a platform for artists to reach out to social networking users, but it will also offer online tools and tips from industry professionals. Jackson will also personally offer advice on the latest trends in the music industry.

Users can sign up for accounts where they can post videos, blogs, songs and interact with other users. The point is to talk with other users about how to help Randy Jackson answer the question “What’s next?”

Jackson described the site, via press release, as a “site is for all of those who are thinking about what’s next and hot. There is something for everyone to enjoy here; music, fashion, and technology.”

Those interested in music, style, technology, media and live shows are encouraged to join. Does Randy Jackson Next have what it takes to compete with major social networking sites like Twitter, Facebook and MySpace?  Time will tell.
