Fox Previews New Fall Series, ‘Almost Human’ and ‘Sleepy Hollow’
A beloved classic and a futuristic cop drama are both coming to your TV screens, courtesy of Fox’s Fall TV lineup. The network is set to premiere two news shows, Sleepy Hollow and Almost Human, within a few weeks of each other starting this September.
A preview for each show was recently released, giving audiences a sneak peek at what the show is all about.
Almost Human is a police drama set in 2048, and stars Karl Urban as John Kennex. Kennex is a police officer dealing with his android partner, Dorian (Michael Eally). In the story, it’s required for human cops to pair with an “AI protector”. Kennex, however, has learned not to trust a “synthetic”, and has a tough time working with one.
The series also stars Mika Kelly, Lili Taylor and Ian Butcher.

Sleepy Hollow is a new spin on an old classic, and stars Tom Mison as Ichabod Crane and Nicole Beharie as his partner, Abbie Archer. In this version, Crane comes back from the dead and in to the modern-day town of Sleepy Hollow — only to learn that his pursuer (the headless horseman) is still around and is more bent on killing him.

Judging from these previews, it seems Fox has found two very interesting shows for its Fall season.
Sleepy Hollow premieres Sept. 16 at 9/8c and Almost Human debuts Nov. 4 at 8/7c on Fox.
