Feist performs How Come You Never Go There on David Letterman
Those of you who know Feist from that Apple advert a while back are in for a touch of a surprise – her new material seems much darker and more atmospheric than that ode to counting (or whatever it was).
Feist performed her new single How Come You Never Go There live on the David Letterman show yesterday. It’s to be the lead track from her new album Metals. Things to love: the horns, the haunting backing vocals and the wonderfully sparse and stark guitar solo. It’s plodding, introspective and dark.
Which quite suits the time of year, I think you’ll agree.
Metals is the fifth studio album by the 35-year-old Canadian singer. Any long-time fans care to comment on the new tune?
