Bristol Palin first appeared on season 11 and made it all the way to third place. Though she’s always under heat for her participation in reality shows, she explained that her intentions this time are simply to have fun while being in the spotlight.  “God provides opportunities for me. This is an amazing opportunity to for me. I get to work with awesome people. And it’s a positive, active show. It’s going to be awesome,” she said at the TCA Summer Press Preview.

Pamela Anderson made it seven weeks before elimination on the 10th season of DWTS. This year she is aiming to make it a little further, if not all the way to the trophy. Her strategy? “I’m actually going to try to ask people to vote because I didn’t realize how important that was last time,” Anderson said at the TCA Summer Press Preview.

Indy driver Helio Castroneves is also returning from season five. Though it was tough last time, he feels more prepared the second time around. “I wasn’t even thinking about how difficult the competition was until you told me! What have I put myself into! But I know it’s going to be a lot of fun. And it’s a great group of people,” he told ESPN.

Apollo Anto Ohno is busy promoting Team USA in London at the summer games, but he’s also busy promoting his returning to DWTS. He was named the champ in season four and is excited to return. Speaking to ESPN he shared,

“When they called, I had to think whether I was willing to make a full commitment. I had to think about giving 100 percent and dedicating all that time. But, when I heard the names of some of the other contestants, I realized that I was a great fan of many of them and they are my friends. How could I not? I think it’ll be the biggest show they’ve ever hard. It’s a wonderful opportunity. I’m excited about being on the show.”

Season one champ and General Hospital star Kelly Monaco is returning as well and was spotted with pro dancer Cheryl Burke hitting the beach over the weekend.

Who else can you expect on season 15 of Dancing With the Stars? Boybanders Drew Lachey and Joey Fatone, football legend Emmitt Smith, The Bachelor‘s Melissa Rycroft, ladies’ favorite Giles Marini, actress Kirstie Alley and gymnast Shawn Johnson.

Though the celebrities have been announced, on August 13 ABC will announce the official pairings on Good Morning America.
