Next up on Californication – The Way Of The Fist
Californication: Just as you might expect, any child of highly sexed parents like Marcy and Charlie might have seen a thing or two. So, it’s no surprise when the Runkles (plus Stu) are called into school after an ‘incident’ in which their son exposed himself to a fellow pupil. After last week’s season premiere, I’m inclined to blame Marcy…
Elsewhere, Hank is courting trouble when he flirts with Samurai Apocalypse’s girl Kali. Watch the video below to see the two together. I think what’s interesting is that when Kali and Hank are alone, she acts like she’s attached to Sam and warns Hank that Sam has guns. However, when Sam shows up, she’s very quick to remind him that she’s not his girl.
Another shocking revelation – spoiler h8rs turn away NOW – is that Samurai’s real name is Calvin. Now, I’m pretty sure we know another rapper whose real name is Calvin, don’t we? I wonder if Californication is taking a pop at ol’ Snoop with this one?
Here’s the official episode synopsis – including a hint that Hank might’ve been blabbing to Sam about his dislike of Becca’s new douchefriend:
Hank passes on writing Samurai Apocalypse’s new movie but Sam won’t take no for an answer and drags Hank to a meeting with director Peter Berg, where they discover that Hank and Peter have shared more than just a love of the written word. Sam takes it on himself to get rid of Tyler, which makes things worse between Hank and Becca. Co-parents Charlie, Marcy and Stu have their hands full when Little Stuart exposes himself to a preschool classmate, and Charlie takes it upon himself to mend fences with the offended girl’s attractive mother.
Here’s Marcy, Stu and Charlie showing how not to behave in a parent-teacher meeting:
And watch Hank put the moves on Kali before rejecting Samurai’s (that name makes me laugh every time) offer of a job:
