Bones spoilers: First look at Brennan’s wedding gown
TVGuide.com released an exclusive first look of Emily Deschanel as Temperance Brennan in a dainty wedding gown for the sixth episode of Fox’s drama, Bones. The photo shows a smiling Brennan, clasping the arms of her father, Max (Ryan O’Neal) in what appears to be the march down the aisle.
The wedding, which is set to air in Oct. 21st, was previewed in David Boreanaz’ Whosay account — which showed two photos of him and Deschanel in wedding attires.
Boreanaz was also graceful enough to compliment his on-screen bride’s wedding glow. “I love her done-up hair with the braid, and I must say her toes look beautiful,” he said. Deschanel had her toes painted with Chrome Girl’s chemical free polish, a brand that Boreanaz and his wife owns together with a friend.
Deschanel had only 20 minutes to choose a gown, and she went with a laced, off-shoulder design by Romona Keveza, which cost $4,800. “I tried on five [dresses], and this was the most flattering,” says the actress.
She also explained that her choice had to make sense from the character’s perspective. She said that Brennan once showed Angela (Michaela Conlin) a picture of a wedding dress she found in a magazine when she was eight. “So the dress had to look like something that would have appealed to young Brennan before she went through all the death stuff. Even though her life changed, she still held on to this dream, and I think that’s wonderful!,” the actress concluded.
There are two more episodes to go before this one, but in the meantime, check out the synopsis for the next episode and our previous spoiler post:
Pelant (guest star Andrew Leeds) is back, and the members of the Jeffersonian team want to put an end to the hold he’s had over them, once and for all. When a human cadaver is willed for research to the team, they devise a plan, with the help of Special Agent Hayes Flynn (guest star Reed Diamond), to stage the human cadaver in a way that Pelant would stage a murder, and steal his spotlight in order to flush him out. But their plan backfires when Pelant is a step ahead of them, resulting in him killing someone close to Booth. Meanwhile, Sweets returns from his leave of absence and is convinced that Agent Flynn isn’t the person whom everyone thinks he is.
Bones airs Mondays at 8:00 pm on Fox.
